Ozone Treatment

Updated: Jun 5, 2023

After a deep cleaning (thorough vacuuming and shampooing of carpets and seats) of the interior of your car we place an ozone generator in your vehicle for a designated amount of time, depending on the strength of the odor. As the ozone gas seeps into your car, the odor is neutralized and any bacteria and viruses are killed.

The Ozone treatment is a process of removing odors and eliminating bacteria and viruses from the interior of a car. Ozone is a gas composed of three oxygen atoms that has a powerful oxidizing effect, which can break down and neutralize organic compounds and microorganisms.

The O3 gas penetrates into every nook and cranny of the interior, including the ventilation system, seats, carpets, and headliner, to destroy any bacteria, viruses, and odor-causing compounds that are present. This is an effective solution for removing stubborn and persistent odors such as cigarette smoke, pet odors, mold and mildew, and food spills. It can also be used to disinfect the car's interior, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, where it is important to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

It is important to note that ozone treatment can be harmful to humans and pets if not used properly, as high levels of ozone can cause respiratory problems and other health issues. Therefore, it should only be performed by trained professionals who know how to use the equipment safely and effectively.

After ozone treatment steps:

You must air out your car from the ozone gas with fresh air by letting it bake in the sun with the windows down or doors open for 6-8 hours to be safe. It should take less than that but your health is most important to us.
